After months and months of anticipation the Halifax Pop Explosion is finally here!
Each day we’ll be bringing you a short update on what we checked out the night before, a mini feature we like to call ‘Things I Learned at HPX’.
Last night we donned our non-ironic eyeglasses and headed to Reflections. Music filled the air, and amazing happy hour specials made sure our hands were full too. Since it’s the kick off edition, here’s TWO things we learned at HPX last night.
ONE: There’s happy hour at Reflections every night from 10 – 1. Go. Now.
TWO: Pepper Rabbit are great. We’d never heard of this group before, but can honestly say we’re big time fans of this psych pop act now. Catchy and entertaining, they had us feeling a little bit sad when they left the stage – although we were still immensely excited for Ohbijou, too.
